Overview
Forklift Site Technician role at Concentric Power Services. The Forklift Technician is responsible for performing routine maintenance on industrial equipment, including forklifts, scissor lifts, tuggers, floor scrubbers and golf carts. Crown, Yale, Electric Forklift Repair experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain industrial mobile equipment.
- Troubleshoot equipment failures, including root cause analysis, researching potential warranty, rework and continuously repetitive repairs using historical equipment data available through Field Connect service platform.
- Complete all repairs of equipment in a timely manner and by the manufacturer’s repair guidelines.
- Perform judgments and decisions to consider relative costs and benefits of actions to choose the most appropriate course of action.
- Inspect equipment and perform audits per the PM Planning tools schedule in Field Connect service platform.
- Communicate with supervisor, co-workers, and subordinates by phone, in writing, e-mail, or in person.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of all work orders and service records per the Concentric time standard.
- Maintain accurate and timely entry of work hours in Paylocity time keeping platform.

Safety

- Work areas will be maintained to ensure safety and kept clean and organized daily.

Requirements
- Strong equipment repair, mechanical and/or electrical skills
- Proven experience in electric forklift repair; primary focus on electric trucks
- Willing and ability to travel to multiple sites
- Hydraulics, conveyor experience is a plus
- Self-motivated with ability to manage time and attendance; ability to work with minimal supervision
- Strong communication skills for work order documentation and customer interaction
- Some computer skills; familiarity with using a computer
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds, crouch and/or move in confined areas
- Must meet the physical requirements of a Service Technician
- Willingness to learn and be trained
- Valid driver’s license; CDL a plus but not required
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen

Work Environment

Salary range: $34 to $35 per hour.
