Ryder is immediately hiring a Permanent Full Time Stand Up Forklift Operator in Minster, Ohio.

Overview

Position: Stand Up Forklift Operator (Permanent, full-time) in Minster, Ohio. Warehouse position with weekly pay.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions, which may include loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Operate within performance measurement guidelines of the contract.
• Ensure accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products, and loading/unloading of trucks.
• Handle day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse environment (e.g., picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
• Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during core production hours.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team; able to work in a diverse environment.
• Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization.
• Highly thorough and dependable; punctual with good attendance.
• Performs work independently with minimal supervision; possesses a high degree of initiative and accuracy under pressure.
• Ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs; ability to stand for long periods; adherence to health and safety methods.
• Flexible schedule on various work shifts; detail oriented with excellent follow-up.

• Pay: Weekly
• Base hourly pay: $20.00 per hour
• $1000 sign-on bonus
• Up to $10.00 per hour bonus for productivity after training
• Schedule: A Shift, rotating schedule; 11-hour shifts; 44-55 hours per week; 4:30am – 4:00pm
