Overview

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a 13-week travel assignment in Omro, Wisconsin. Base pay range

This range is provided by Fusion Medical Staffing. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.

Required Qualifications

  • One year of recent CNA experience
  • Valid CNA registration in compliance with state regulations
  • Current BLS (AHA/ARC) or CPR certification

Preferred Qualifications

  • Other certifications may be required depending on facility requirements

Summary

A Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides direct patient care and supports patients with daily needs. They assist with tasks like bathing, dressing, mobility, and monitoring patient conditions in collaboration with nurses and the healthcare team.

Essential Work Functions

  • Record vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration)
  • Assist patients with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting)
  • Provide mobility assistance (repositioning, transfers, ambulation support)
  • Help with feeding and meal assistance as needed
  • Monitor and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff
  • Offer emotional support and companionship to patients and families
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient care and observations
  • Adhere to infection control, safety, and healthcare regulations
  • Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of practice

Required Essential Skills

  • Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions; proficient in computer skills
  • Physical abilities to remain stationary, move, lift 50-100 lbs, push/pull, and bend
  • Interpersonal skills to work effectively with a variety of personnel
  • Technical/motor skills to assist with procedures and equipment
  • Mental and sensory requirements to cope with frequent public contact, meet deadlines, and maintain concentration
