Job Description

Onsite presence is required. Only qualified Security Analyst – Consultant candidates located near the Columbia, SC area will be considered.

Qualifications

  • BS degree in computer science or similar discipline or 10+ years of experience in the field or related area
  • ISC(2), ISACA, SANS, GIAC and/or other Information Security Certification required
  • Prior Health Information Technology experience (preferred)
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)

Responsibilities

  • Security Program Experience: leadership with CMS MARS-E or other FISMA RMF-compliant programs; documented success in development/maintenance of SSPs, PIAs, ISAs, CMAs
  • RMF/A&A tasks: development and integration into SDLC; roles may include ISSO, Information Security Architect, Security Control Auditor
  • Cloud and vendor management security considerations; work with eGRC systems
  • IT/Technical Knowledge: Archer (eGRC), IBM System 390/zSeries, Linux/Windows servers, databases (relational and non-relational), networking, firewalls, IPS, SIEM, IAM
  • Audit and Compliance: conduct security and compliance reviews of contracts and data usage/sharing agreements; primary contact for third-party audits
  • Documentation and Reporting: utilize Office suite, Archer/eGRC, Bizagi, Atlassian, Service Manager to document findings and report outcomes
  • Collaboration: coordinate with agency leadership, business partners, and vendors to mitigate security and compliance risks
  • Other: support SCDHHS OCS initiatives; maintain alignment of technical requirements with business objectives
