Overview

First Point Group have partnered with a tier one mobile carrier to find Sr Security Incident Response Engineer, to work for them in their growing security division.

If you are cyber security professional with a passion for incident response and are looking to work for a dynamic telecom provider, that can offer you unparalleled career progression, this Sr Security Incident Response Engineer could be an opportunity for you!

Responsibilities

• Investigating incidents for incident response team
• Developing content to improve detective capabilities for the SIEM (Splunk) tool
• Analyzing data sources for security incidents
• Developing processes
• Developing and delivering metrics as needed

Qualifications

• A degree in computer science or equivalent
• 5+ years security incident response experience
• 1 or more of following security certifications: GCIH, GCIA, GCFA or GREM
• Network troubleshooting experience
• Knowledge and experience with current cyber threats for enterprise environments
• Strong knowledge of security best practices in large-scale environments
• Strong knowledge of mobile technologies such as:

• SIP
• IOS
• 4G/5G

• Intrusion Detection systems such as Checkpoint, Snort, McAfee, ISS, etc.
• Splunk SIEM experience
• Advanced knowledge of networking and OS technologies
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• The ability to work for a W2 employer
