We are seeking an experienced and visionary Head of Engineering & Product Development to lead our client's engineering teams and drive innovation in product strategy and execution. This leadership role requires a strategic thinker with a strong technical background, exceptional people management skills, and a proven track record of delivering high-impact products from concept through launch. The ideal candidate will excel at aligning engineering efforts with business goals while fostering a culture of collaboration, quality, and continuous improvement.
Position Responsibilities
Leadership & Strategy
- Define and execute the engineering and product development roadmap in alignment with overall business objectives
- Lead, mentor, and inspire engineering and product teams to achieve operational excellence and innovation
- Foster a culture of collaboration, agility, and continuous improvement across cross-functional teams
Product Development & Delivery
- Oversee the entire product lifecycle from ideation, design, and development to testing, launch, and maintenance
- Ensure high standards of quality, scalability, and performance in product design and engineering solutions
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders including marketing, sales, and customer success to align product features with market needs
Process Optimization & Innovation
- Implement best practices in product development methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Lean
- Drive adoption of modern engineering tools, processes, and automation to improve productivity and quality
- Identify opportunities for innovation and new technology integration to maintain competitive advantage
Prerequisites
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in engineering and product development roles
- Proven success in managing large, diverse teams and delivering complex products to market
- Strong technical expertise combined with strategic business acumen
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Certifications (Preferred, but not Required)
- Agile, Scrum, or Project Management certifications
- Leadership or executive management training
