Overview

OES Equipment, part of the DPR Family of Companies, is a fast-paced and innovative construction consumables, heavy equipment rental company seeking a Warehouse Associate to assist our team in Abilene, TX. We are looking for a highly organized and dependable team player to help reach critical deadlines, provide excellent customer service, and produce quality work for our internal and external customers and suppliers.

Responsibilities

  • Receiving/stocking inventory
  • Loading/unloading delivery trucks
  • Preparing orders for shipment
  • Signing for deliveries
  • Inventory cycle counts
  • Equipment and material transfer and palletize
  • Inventory control knowledge
  • Maintaining the warehouse (organizing, cleaning, sweeping, etc.)
  • Cleaning rental equipment
  • Back-up driver/runner
  • Bin location accuracy
  • May assist with dispatching a driver
  • Participate in ongoing process training/safety training

Qualifications / Required Skills

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Well organized with attention to detail
  • Positive interpersonal skills and strong work ethic
  • Ability to work in both a team environment and independently
  • Proficient in MS Office Excel/technology
  • Multitasker, self-driven, fast-paced, and organized
  • Experience with operating various types of construction equipment is a plus
  • Basic computer knowledge with Rental Man software experience is a plus
  • Demonstrate integrity as a core value
  • Forklift operator certified (preferred)
  • Aerial lift certified (preferred)

Additional Information

  • Full-time - 40 to 50 hours per week, OT as needed
  • Monday to Friday: 6:00 am - 2:30 pm
