Warehouse Associate Job at East Coast Warehouse & Distribution in Jersey City

Overview

This position is responsible for receiving palletized freight, putting it away in rack and shaping the same. Majority of the time is spent on Material Handling equipment. Occasional lifting of materials and product up to 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks.
• Prepare orders to be picked up by customers or trucking companies.
• Pick orders.
• Label boxes.
• Receive palletized freight, put it away in rack and shape the same.
• Operate material handling equipment as required.
• Use safety equipment including eye protection, hearing protection, work boots, and hardhats. Ensure clothing and jewelry are appropriate.

Requirements / Experience

• Experience on seat-down forklift, deep reach, and pallet jack depending on location.

• Time Slot: 8am - 5pm
• Hourly Pay: $19.50
