Overview

Warehouse Associate at Cardinal Health in Kansas City, MO. Schedule: Monday - Friday, 12:00 PM start until completion with mandatory overtime. Shift start may change to 3:00 PM and longer hours during peak season (November - January). Location: Cardinal Health, 12600 NE 40th St. Ste. 100, Kansas City, MO 64161.

Pay Rate: $20.26 per hour (includes shift differential). Bonus eligible: No.

What Warehouse Operations Contributes To Cardinal Health

Warehouse Operations is responsible for performing and controlling a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of product. This includes receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, and delivery, as well as ensuring the efficient flow of products from receipt to shipment to internal and external customers.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred
• Good written communication skills
• 1-2 years of experience preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office preferred

Responsibilities

• Cross-training in multiple warehouse areas including Inbound and Outbound
• Receive large boxes on the dock, scan products with RF scanner, input product information into computer
• Break down cases and operate heavy equipment to replenish warehouse
• Pick large case items with equipment or pick small unit items for cart placement
• Palletize items for shipment and wrap for transport
• Pack small items in boxes
• Operate material handling equipment as required (order picker, forklift, reach truck, turret truck, pallet jack, walkie rider)

• Have outputs reviewed by a lead or supervisor
• Refer complex or unusual problems to a supervisor
