Overview

Warehouse Associate II supports daily warehouse logistics to operate at maximum efficiency. This position is primarily responsible for various warehouse tasks such as shipping and receiving, inventory management, and customer order fulfillment. This role is expected to adhere to all company policies and safety protocols.

Base pay

$20.00/hr - $23.00/hr

Responsibilities

  • Order Fulfillment: Pull customer orders from warehouse shelves, ensure accuracy based on item number, serial numbers, size, quantity, etc.; pull and load for SupplySight; manage Will Calls; perform checks to confirm physical inventory counts match records (cycle counts).
  • Receiving and Unloading: Receive orders, inspect items, match delivery to purchase order, log into warehouse management system, follow up on delays; load/unload palletized freight; organize and stock before shelving; ensure inventory counts align with records; handle non-conforming products per policies; maintain warehouse cleanliness; perform daily forklift inspections.
  • Shipping: Manage shipment and receipt of products via carriers; label orders and prepare for shipping; handle hazardous and non-hazardous items per protocols; perform final inspection before shipment.
  • Quality Control: Conduct quality checks, identify process improvements, inspect products for defects, involve Operations Manager as needed, ensure product certifications and Safety Data Sheets are included when applicable; hazmat packing and shipping as required.
  • Coaching & Mentoring (Training): Conduct observations, provide feedback, train and mentor employees on SOPs, and support individual development.
  • Additional Assignments: Perform administrative tasks (paperwork, credit card processing, shipping verifications), data entry into ERP, organize hazmat meetings, manage equipment maintenance, conduct inventory counts, and other duties as assigned.

Basic qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED
  • At least 2 to 5 years of related experience and/or training

Skills

  • Soft Skills: People and communication skills, team player, attention to detail, quick learner, problem solving, multitasking, time management, mentoring and coaching.
  • Hard Skills: Operate standard warehouse equipment (forklift, hand truck, pallet jack, etc.); order fulfillment, receiving and unloading, packing, shipping; inventory control and cycle counts; data entry and warehousing systems; MS Excel and MS Word; basic safety compliance; PPE use.

Certifications & licenses

  • Hazmat Certified
  • Forklift Certified or 2+ years of experience operating warehouse equipment

Physical requirements

  • Ability to operate standard warehouse equipment (forklift, hand truck, pallet jack, etc.).
  • Ability to lift/pull/push up to 100 lbs.
  • Full range of body movements; ability to bend, reach, and crouch as needed; vision requirements including close vision and depth perception.

Working conditions

  • Warehouse environment with substantial manual labor; standing for long periods; lifting as needed; good physical condition typically required.
