DLF North America is hiring: Truck Driver in Lansing

Overview

DLF North America is recruiting for a CDL – Class B Truck Driver for our operation located in Lansing, MI. This position is responsible for the safe and timely transportation of products from our distribution center to customer locations. You will also be involved in loading and unloading products, conducting vehicle inspections, and providing exceptional customer service during deliveries.

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections in compliance with DOT regulations.
• Ensure delivery vehicle is properly loaded, secured, and within legal weight limits.
• Safely deliver products to customers and assist with unloading as needed.
• Load outgoing vehicles for delivery routes.
• Accurately review and verify delivery and receiving paperwork.
• Provide friendly and professional service to customers upon delivery.
• Maintain accurate delivery and vehicle records for submission to the fleet office.
• Help with warehouse tasks when not on delivery routes.
• Keep delivery vehicle fueled, clean, and organized.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1–3 years of relevant CDL driving experience preferred
• Valid Class B CDL with air brake endorsement (Wisconsin license)
• Reliable transportation to and from work

Compensation And Benefits

This position comes with a competitive compensation plan that includes a base salary, benefit options, retirement savings plan with company contribution, vacation, and personal days. Compensation will be based on experience.
