Overview
CHS Inc. is looking for a Truck Driver to join our team in Great Falls. This role focuses on hauling feed and feed ingredients locally to ranches or store locations. The typical schedule is Monday–Friday, daytime deliveries, and drivers are home daily for supper. There will be plenty of overtime opportunities, and some weekend work during our busy season from September through April.
Responsibilities
- Ensure accurate and timely pick up/deliveries to customers in a safe, timely, and professional manner. Assist with loading or unloading as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service. Greet customers promptly and courteously; address concerns and escalate to leadership as required.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations, including pre-trip and post-trip reporting, proper load securement, and hours of service.
- Maintain cleanliness of the vehicle and work environment.
- Complete and document daily maintenance inspections; oversee repairs and preventive maintenance as needed.
- Maintain a strong safety culture and follow safety policies, PPE procedures, and training; identify and communicate hazards and correct unsafe actions or conditions.
- Report incidents, accidents, and traffic violations to the supervisor.
- Enroll in and complete mandatory CHS random drug and alcohol testing and the Continuous Monitoring Program.
- Assist operational staff and perform other duties as needed, including intercompany driving when required.
Minimum Qualifications (required)
- Class A CDL
- Ability to read, write and communicate in English and understand highway traffic signs and signals
Additional Qualifications
- Maintain a CDL and DOT medical card
- Ability to work additional hours, be available for overnight stays and occasional weekends
- Hazmat, Tanker, Air Brake endorsements preferred
- Agriculture background preferred
- Customer service experience preferred
- Bulk liquid, pressure trailer, or forklift experience preferred
- Pre-employment screening may be required to meet job requirements and industry guidelines

Actual pay offered will vary based on factors including experience, education, training, and certifications, and applicable local laws.
