KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Associate to join our KPMG Strategy practice.
Responsibilities :
- In relation to the deal advisory integration and separation process, help assess the IT infrastructure related opportunities and risks associated with M&A transactions, identify and quantify potential new investments, help develop a related action plan, and communicate due diligence results in a non-technical fashion
- Review the current state of a clients IT infrastructure including design, documentation, implementation, and administration of the network and LAN solutions
- Evaluate a clients hardware, software and networking components to determine the effectiveness of the existing solutions
- Identify potential risks and opportunities, and help develop a transformation plan to address the risks and opportunities. Work with cross-functional teams in implementing solutions
- Participate in the development and presentation of final project deliverables
- A minimum of three years external consulting experience for a technology/business consulting firm or a combination of external consulting and technology industry experience, including a track record of driving major IT-related business change, proficiency in IT related M&A integrations/separations, logical strategy development, systems life cycle management, data modeling, and architecture visioning.
- Bachelor s degree in Information technology or a related field from an accredited university/college
- Proficiency in IT infrastructure best practices and the essential requirements necessary to ensure the successful implementation and maintenance of infrastructure solutions and standards
- Deep understanding of the technical requirements needed to design, construct, and manage data center and server room environments, as well as to deploy, manage and maintain information technology solutions, including UNIX servers, Windows servers, Linux Servers SAN, NAS and virtualization
- Ability to prioritize/organize diverse material and excellent foundational consulting skills: analytical, written and verbal communication, strong executive presence, facilitation and presentation skills
- Willingness and ability to travel
