Overview
Western Rock Products, a CRH Company, is a CRH family member. This is a skilled position involving the safe and efficient operation of haul trucks. Drivers will transport all types of aggregates, asphalt, and other materials around the pit.
Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)
- Operate trucks and related equipment safely and efficiently.
- Keep time and material records.
- Follow verbal and written instructions.
- Understand different types and sizes of aggregates.
- Maneuver and back with pup trailer.
- Communicate effectively on the radio system.
- Connect and disconnect pup trailer.

Education/Experience
High school diploma or GED required; and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Must possess a valid state driver’s license. Must possess a valid Medical Card as per DOT standard.
Work Requirements
One to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Incident-free driving record preferred. May be subject to drug and alcohol, medical exams and physical agility testing.
Knowledge/Skill Requirements
Ability to communicate using two-way radio. Basic math. Basic computer skills preferred.

Physical Requirements
The physical demands described are representative of those required to perform the essential functions. The employee may be required to sit, climb, and use hands to signal and handle equipment. The employee may occasionally stand, walk, crawl, kneel, bend, and reach with hands and arms. Lifting up to 50-75 lbs may be required. Specific vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
Work Environment
Occasional exposure to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; outside weather conditions; and extreme cold and/or heat. Noise level is usually moderate. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
