Position: Truck Driver (Non-CDL)

The full-time Truck Driver is responsible for delivering material to customer job sites, forklift operation, and maintaining the lumber yard and warehouse. Must have a valid state-issued driver’s license and safe driving record. Responsibilities include:

• Building loads for delivery and unloading freight including lumber and building supplies
• Forklift training, certification, and operation
• Maintaining a safe, clean and well-organized lumber yard and warehouse
• Communicating delays or discrepancies with management
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years old
• Read and speak English sufficiently to converse with the general public, understand highway signs and signals, respond to official inquiries, and make entries on reports
• Safely operate the assigned commercial motor vehicle
• Provide (on an annual basis) a true and correct copy of your Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and a list of violations or the certificate as required by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Act
• Be physically qualified to drive a commercial motor vehicle in accordance with the FMCSA
• Not be disqualified to drive a commercial motor vehicle under the FMCSA
• Complete or have completed a driver\'s road test and has been issued a valid and current certificate of driver\'s road test
• Depending on the truck/hauler, you may be required to have a commercial motor vehicle license
• Depending on the truck/hauler, you may be required to have a valid and current Medical Exam certificate or card
• High school diploma or GED
