Responsible for delivering a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging with customers, embodying customer experience principles, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. Adheres to all operational, merchandising, and loss prevention standards. May be cross-trained to work in multiple areas of the store to support business needs.

Responsibilities

• Model established customer experience practices with internal and external customers
• Support and embody a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect
• Accurately ring customer purchases/returns and count change back to customer according to procedures
• Promote credit and loyalty programs
• Maintain merchandising philosophy and follow procedures and standards
• Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor in accordance with procedures
• Initiate and participate in store recovery as needed during the day
• Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the sales floor and store-wide cleanliness
• Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback
• Adhere to labor laws, policies, and procedures
• Support shrink reduction goals and programs
• Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Possesses excellent customer service skills
• Able to work a flexible schedule to support business needs
• Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail
• Capable of multi-tasking
• Able to respond to changes in direction or unexpected situations
• Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation
• Works effectively with peers and supervisors
• Retail customer experience preferred
