Shift 1/8:00:00 AM to 4:30:00 PM Minimum to Midpoint Pay Rate: $29.55 - $36.93 / hour Summary
Works in conjunction with the Laboratory Compliance / POCT Manager to develop, oversee, and monitor the LMHS Point of Care Testing (POCT) program. Operates and maintains POCT equipment and other lab equipment assigned. Performs testing, quality control, calibrations and function checks in a timely, efficient and accurate manner in accordance with state, federal and other regulatory requirements. Provides training for nursing and laboratory staff for point of care testing. Serves as a resource for LMHS staff with regard to POCT and safety standards. Investigates and resolves problems concerning POC testing and safety. Actively participates in quality assurance and performance improvement activities, and research and development of new procedures. Effectively communicates and provides excellent customer service to nursing staff, physicians, patients, co-workers and other LMHS customers and employees. Maintains and updates POCT and Safety Manuals for assigned locations. Requirements
