Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant II to join our Finance team in the Cache Valley / Logan, UT area. This role follows a hybrid work model, offering flexibility to work both on-site and remotely while staying closely connected to our innovative, high-growth environment. This is a hybrid position (1-3 days in office/week).

We are looking for someone with 2-4 years of accounting experience, especially those with SAP financial systems expertise or public accounting backgrounds. The Accountant II will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, supporting audits, and partnering with leaders to strengthen financial processes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Perform reconciliations of balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes.
• Collaborate with auditors and provide documentation for audits.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Utilize SAP (or other ERP) to perform accounting functions and generate reports.
• Participate in improving financial controls and processes.
• Provide financial analysis and reporting to management as needed.

Essential Education, Work Experience, and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2-4 years (or more) of professional accounting experience (industry or Public accounting).
• Strong preference for candidates with SAP experience or public accounting experience.
• Proficiency in GAAP and financial reporting.
• Strong Excel skills; ability to analyze large datasets.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain financial information to non-financial stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a technology, manufacturing, or engineering environment.
• Demonstrated ability to implement process improvements.
