Job Description
- Create schedules to meet customer requirements, including On Time delivery, line requirements, Red Bin Parts, and Past Due orders.
- Escalate and help resolve supplier delivery issues to the plant. Monitor inter-plant deliveries.
- Work with the shop floor to execute the planned schedule, managing safety stock requirements and adjusting according to shipping plans and supplier lead times.
- Manage inventory and reconcile tied to aged work-in-progress orders, scrap orders, basic finish dates, and lost parts.
- Participate in site annual inventory counts.
- Contribute to the SIOP (Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning) process.
- Handle goods receiving and routing of parts.
- Monitor inter-plant deliveries and indirect plan materials.
- Prepare end-unit shipments to customers.
- Drive continuous improvement projects.
Qualifications
- High school diploma required; 0-2 years of experience in a related field.
- Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within the field.
