Job Description

  • Create schedules to meet customer requirements, including On Time delivery, line requirements, Red Bin Parts, and Past Due orders.
  • Escalate and help resolve supplier delivery issues to the plant. Monitor inter-plant deliveries.
  • Work with the shop floor to execute the planned schedule, managing safety stock requirements and adjusting according to shipping plans and supplier lead times.
  • Manage inventory and reconcile tied to aged work-in-progress orders, scrap orders, basic finish dates, and lost parts.
  • Participate in site annual inventory counts.
  • Contribute to the SIOP (Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning) process.
  • Handle goods receiving and routing of parts.
  • Monitor inter-plant deliveries and indirect plan materials.
  • Prepare end-unit shipments to customers.
  • Drive continuous improvement projects.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required; 0-2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within the field.
