Job Overview
A prominent law firm located in San Francisco, CA, seeks a driven and experienced litigation associate to join its expanding Mass Tort and Product Liability team. Duties
Prepare and draft legal pleadings, motions, and other court filings
Perform in-depth legal research and support strategic litigation planning
Conduct and defend depositions of parties and witnesses
Contribute to all phases of trial readiness, including discovery management and witness preparation
Deliver oral arguments and attend hearings as required
Support partners and senior team members in multi-jurisdictional litigation
Engage in client-facing interactions and provide advisory support throughout the litigation process
Requirements
2 to 7 years of relevant litigation experience, preferably in mass tort or product liability defense
Background in other civil defense areas may be considered within the specified experience range
Demonstrated experience managing discovery, depositions, and motion practice
Strong oral and written advocacy skills
Interest in or exposure to trial work
Active membership in the California State Bar
Education
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited institution
Certifications
Admission to the California Bar (required)
