Duties

• Draft and file high-quality patent applications.
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of submissions.
• Manage patent preparation and prosecution processes.
• Oversee patent portfolios in electrical engineering and software sectors.
• Supervise and mentor associates.
• Draft and prosecute patents related to advanced technologies such as GPUs, TPUs, accelerators, neural engines, and robotics.

Requirements

• Minimum of six years of patent preparation and prosecution experience.
• Technical background with an undergraduate or advanced degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, software engineering, computer science, or physics.
• Proven ability to draft and prosecute patents in complex technologies.
• Strong understanding of patent law and USPTO procedures.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.

Education

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Undergraduate (and graduate, if applicable) degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or related field.

Certifications

• Active bar admission in the practicing jurisdiction.
• USPTO registration required.

Skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience managing and prosecuting patent applications.
