Base pay range

$28.00/hr - $32.00/hr

Our Client a well known University is seeking a Human Resources Associate in their New York, New York.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate interviews for executive and administrative roles, including complex panel scheduling.
• Arrange candidate travel and meeting logistics as needed.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates, ensuring timely, professional communication.
• Prepare candidate packets for hiring managers and search committee members.
• Conduct reference checks and coordinate background screenings.
• Advise hiring managers on interview structure and process expectations.
• Manage and maintain accurate candidate data in the Applicant Tracking System (TalentLink).
• Ensure compliance with HR policies as well as local, state, and federal regulations.
• Prepare search documentation and recruitment materials.
• Review resumes for administrative roles and conduct basic LinkedIn searches to build talent pipelines.
• Track and report recruitment activity through dashboards.
• Contribute to developing recruitment SOPs and candidate resources.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 2–4 years of related experience.
• Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Capable of working independently with general supervision.
• Familiarity with the recruitment lifecycle and compliance practices.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and customer service orientation.
• Commitment to accuracy and service excellence.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems.
