Job Title: Senior Human Resources Generalist (based in Faribault, MN). This position reports to the Operations HR Manager. The role supports the implementation and evaluation of employee programs, improves employee engagement and relations, and ensures department policies align with company goals. It aims to reduce turnover and attract top talent to fill open positions.

Responsibilities
- Assist the Operations HR Manager in communicating and applying company policies and procedures and promote understanding within Trystar.
- Manage the full life cycle of recruiting: sourcing, screening, maintaining recruiting systems, drafting offer letters, onboarding, and candidate follow-through.
- Assist managers with performance evaluations and new hire follow-up meetings.
- Help manage and update site job descriptions and classify positions as needed.
- Facilitate the annual performance review and merit increase cycle.
- Assist with disciplinary procedures and termination processes to ensure fair treatment.
- Develop and organize staff training sessions, workshops, and activities as needed.
- Facilitate new employee onboarding: answer questions and support managers when integrating new hires.
- Become familiar with benefits and respond to related concerns.
- Maintain employee electronic records (new hires, terminations, changes of status).
- Work with site leadership to train on policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
- Handle employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors; address employee relations issues and conduct investigations as needed.
- Facilitate employee engagement initiatives to improve the working experience.
- Provide support to enterprise HR initiatives across Trystar sites as needed.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field (education can be substituted for years of experience).
- 3 to 5 years of experience in Human Resources.
- 3 years of experience in a manufacturing and/or operations environment.
- Professional conduct, integrity, and accountability.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR management systems.
Additional Qualifications
- Master’s in Human Resources, MBA (HR Track), or Master’s in Industrial and Labor Relations.
- Strong understanding of local, state, and federal employment laws.
- Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and HR management systems.
- Bilingual (English & Spanish) preferred.
