Overview
Location: Warehouse Environment | Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Pay Rate: $21.50–$23.50/hour (based on experience)
Are you an organized, bilingual HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment? We are looking for a Human Resource Assistant to support the day-to-day operations of our HR department within a warehouse setting. The ideal candidate is fluent in both Spanish and English and is comfortable working closely with warehouse personnel and leadership teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR files, records, and documentation.
- Respond to routine employee and applicant inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures.
- Schedule and coordinate interviews; assist in hiring and onboarding processes.
- Support new hire orientation and training programs.
- Promote and implement company culture, values, and policies.
- Handle high call volume and manage communication effectively.
- Scan, file, and maintain all necessary HR documentation in a timely manner.
- Track and meet multiple project deadlines.
- Assist with payroll processes and troubleshooting via ADP Workforce Now.
- Run reports and provide HR data to management as requested.
- Maintain professional communication across phone, email, and mail.
- Track employee attendance for warehouse staff.
- Serve as a communication link between multiple warehouse locations and corporate HQ.
- Manage inventory of office supplies and reorder as needed.
- Keep distribution center calendars updated (birthdays, holidays, events).
- Coordinate with benefits providers and assist employees with enrollment and claims.
- Help plan and organize company events such as employee appreciation, open enrollment, holiday celebrations, and retirements.
- Provide general clerical support to the HR team.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bilingual in Spanish and English (required)
- Experience in a warehouse or distribution setting (preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now is a plus
Education and Experience
- Associate’s degree in related field a plus.
- Prior related Human Resource experience a must.
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
- Comfortable with working in a warehouse environment.
