Responsibilities

  • Provide a consistent Starbucks experience for guests by curating handcrafted Starbucks’ food quality and freshness management.
  • Follow state and federal food safety and OSHA guidelines.
  • Deliver an exceptional guest experience by providing a fresh and abundant shopping experience during all hours of operations, prioritizing the guest’s needs over tasks.
  • Uphold and maintain the execution of the Food & Beverage Standards.
  • Execute food and beverage processes including deliveries, replenishment, instocks routines, data accuracy, culling, rotation, cleaning, signing, organizing, and storing reserve product.
  • Be aware of current and future promotions within Starbucks.
  • Support the Starbucks Drive Up process to ensure digital guest orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.
  • Maintain an inviting dining area for guests during shift.
  • Engage with guests to meet and exceed their expectations based on Starbucks standards.
  • Produce hand crafted beverages and food to specifications on recipe cards.
  • Follow food safety requirements, including monitoring and recording temperature sensitive items.
  • Complete and record all cleaning tasks in the Starbucks space as outlined in best practices.
  • Identify damaged, recalled or expired items and process according to best practice.
  • Ensure accurate in-stocks by placing store-initiated orders according to best practices.
  • Follow perishable inventory procedures to ensure accurate recording of inventory.
  • Attend to sampling best practices.
  • Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available in the total store to solve guest issues and improve their experience.
  • Complete required training requirements and certifications related to quality control of Starbucks products.
  • Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance.
  • Work in a safe manner at all times; comply with safety policies and report hazards.
  • Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pickup (OPU) and Drive-up (DU) while complying with applicable laws.
  • Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you complete tasks and assist their needs.
  • Thank guests and acknowledge their choice to shop at Target.
