Position Description

Seeking a Senior Accountant to join our growing finance team. The Senior Accountant will assist the CFO, Controller, and Accounting Manager.

Position Responsibilities

  • Verify the accuracy of invoices and facilitate the accounts payable/receivable process.
  • Liaise with service providers (fund administrator, audit and tax teams, etc.).
  • Assist with quarterly and annual financial statement audits, tax returns, and regulatory/compliance filings.
  • Update and maintain accounting journals, ledgers, and other transactions for funds and the management company.
  • Process and review transactions related to the Funds’ investments and expenses.
  • Monitor banking activity and process/review transactions, including wire transfers and line of credit requests.
  • Assist with the review of credit card transactions and reconciling items.
  • Assist with the preparation of company budgets.
  • Maintain organized and thorough accounting documentation.
  • Perform other related tasks or projects as assigned.

Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Accounting.
  • 2-4+ years of professional experience.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with QuickBooks is a plus but not necessary.
  • Ability to self-manage and work with teams located out-of-state.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a willingness to learn, take on challenges, and prioritize.
  • Demonstrated interest in Accounting and Finance.
  • Compensation: DOE.
