About The Role:
We’re seeking a Full-Stack Engineer to work across the entire software stack. You’ll help deploy OpenAI’s technology into new environments and infrastructure for the public sector, collaborating with product, security, and compliance teams to build scalable, reliable platforms. You will also interface with customers to develop key features.

Responsibilities include:

  • Develop customer-facing ChatGPT and OpenAI API features on-premises and in the cloud.
  • Collaborate with teams across engineering, security, and compliance to adapt products to new environments.
  • Engage with users to understand their needs and design solutions.
  • Work with research teams to incorporate feedback and iterate on models.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create innovative products.
  • Optimize applications for speed and scalability.

You might thrive if you:

  • Hold an active US security clearance.
  • Have 5+ years of relevant engineering experience.
  • Are proficient in JavaScript, React, and Python.
  • Have experience with infrastructure tools like Kubernetes and Terraform.
  • Are interested in AI/ML (experience not required).
  • Can work effectively in a fast-paced, loosely defined environment.
  • Are interested in enabling public sector use cases with unique requirements.

Compensation Range: $255K - $405K.
