Role and Responsibilities

We are seeking an Environmental Cleaning Specialist to work in our Compactor/Chute Cleaning to maintain a clean and safe environment in our building. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating the compactor and maintaining the trash chute and compactor room. A Compactor/Chute Cleaner who can carry out cleaning and maintenance duties, and assist as a helper when needed in the field.

• Clean chutes and doors; also clean the compactor.
• Assist with unloading and loading delivery trucks and stage chute pieces.
• Carry out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects.
• Notify the Job Supervisor of any deficiencies or needs for repairs.
• Stock and maintain supplies.
• Cooperate with the rest of the staff.
• Follow all health and safety regulations and wear proper safety equipment.
• Knowledge of cleaning and supplies; read a tape measure.
• Integrity; use of hand tools and power tools; operate high-pressure steam cleaners.
• Able to lift 50+ lbs.
• Follow instructions.
• Must have a driver's license.
