Job Overview:
A prominent U.S. law firm is seeking an experienced Of Counsel attorney to support its litigation practice with a focus on pharmaceutical and medical device products liability matters. This position requires strong legal writing skills and extensive experience handling Daubert and Rule 702 motions. The successful candidate will play a key role in case strategy, supervise junior attorneys, and collaborate with experts in high-profile matters. This opportunity offers a hybrid work structure across multiple U.S. markets.

Location:

  • Seattle, WA

Duties:

  1. Draft and review litigation documents including motions, briefs, discovery responses, and memoranda
  2. Lead efforts related to Daubert and Rule 702 motion practice
  3. Collaborate with expert witnesses and coordinate evidentiary support
  4. Supervise associates and junior legal team members
  5. Conduct fact development, including depositions and investigations
  6. Assist in developing and implementing overall litigation strategy
  7. Maintain communication with clients on case status and legal strategy

Requirements:

  • At least 8 years of litigation experience
  • Background from an AmLaw 100 or similarly sophisticated litigation environment preferred
  • Significant experience with Daubert and Rule 702 motion practice
  • Proven success in handling pharmaceutical or medical device product liability litigation

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from a nationally accredited law school
  • Strong academic credentials

Certifications:

  • Active law license in the applicable jurisdiction
  • Admission to the New York Bar is strongly encouraged
