Position Summary
This role supports ultra-high net worth families and C-Suite Executives with planning and wealth transfer strategies. The Senior Wealth Advisor acts as a trusted advisor and technical expert, managing complex client relationships, developing comprehensive wealth profiles, and collaborating with professional advisors to deliver integrated wealth management services.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive personal and financial wealth profiles, identifying wealth-related goals.
- Design and implement wealth plans in collaboration with clients and professional advisors, focusing on wealth management, transfer, and tax efficiency.
- Work closely with various Northern Trust professionals to execute and monitor wealth plans.
- Assist in sales processes and identify opportunities to expand client relationships.
- Mentor Associate and Wealth Advisors.
- Engage with professional advisor networks and participate in conferences.
- Operate independently with in-depth knowledge of the business unit.
- Provide leadership and consulting at a high technical level, managing large, cross-functional activities.
- Conduct analysis and interact with management and committees.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
- Minimum of 7 years wealth planning experience with high/ultra-high net worth clients.
- Advanced educational and professional designations preferred (e.g., CFP, JD, MBA).
- Strong knowledge of wealth transfer, taxation, estate planning, and related disciplines.
- Excellent interpersonal and proactive consulting skills.
Salary Range
$189,290 - $331,200 USD. Benefits include retirement plans, health and welfare benefits, paid time off, parental and caregiver leave, insurance, and discretionary bonuses.
