We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Foreman - Technical Projects to oversee multiple construction projects focusing on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction. The role involves leading a team of craftsmen, managing project schedules, and ensuring effective coordination between teams and clients. It also requires troubleshooting technical issues on-site for smooth project execution. This hands-on leadership position demands expertise in construction practices, blueprint interpretation, and managing complex projects under tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage conflict situations involving customers and subcontractors to keep projects on track and meet expectations.
- Supervise and guide a crew of A, B, and C-grade craftsmen, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity.
- Coordinate with project managers and site superintendents to meet project timelines and address concerns.
- Manage customer production schedules, address delays, and keep projects within scope and timeframes.
- Collaborate with sales, engineering, project controls, and safety teams for smooth project execution.
- Mobilize resources including materials, equipment, and manpower for each project.
- Travel extensively to manage projects across various sites.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, fostering a safety-first culture.
- Oversee geographically dispersed projects, ensuring safety, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- 520 hours of direct supervision on various projects (e.g., Quikdeck, swing stage, mast climber, etc.).
- 10,000 hours of supervision in access work (scaffolding or similar systems).
- OSHA 30 Certification, Rigging Certification, and Competent Person Certification.
- Construction Blueprint Training Certification.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook; basic Excel skills for project tracking.
- Familiarity with BrandSafway products and services.
- Effective leadership and communication skills with diverse teams and clients.
- Strong attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, and manage multiple sites.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
BrandSafway offers a competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life, disability insurance, and a 401k plan. The salary range is $90,000 - $120,000 annually .
