Base pay range

$320,000.00/yr - $380,000.00/yr

Vice President, Clinical Development

Reports to: Chief Medical Officer (CMO) or Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Status: Regular, Full-Time, Exempt

Location: San Francisco Bay Area (Hybrid – In office on T, W, Th)

Meet has partnered with an innovative leader in regenerative medicine focused on developing a ready-to-use stem cell platform that addresses the challenges of donor matching by restoring blood and immune function. With strong backing from top-tier life sciences investors, the team is focused on delivering accessible, universal therapies that redefine what's possible in patient care.

Key Responsibilities

Shape and lead clinical strategy by designing and overseeing early-phase trials, serving as medical monitor, and ensuring alignment with overall company goals.
Work cross-functionally and with regulators to guide programs from preclinical to clinical stages, contribute to regulatory submissions, and represent the clinical team in global health authority interactions.
Manage operations and mentor teams , keeping clinical programs on track with timelines and budgets, while fostering a collaborative, innovative, and inclusive team culture.
Collaborate externally and ensure data quality by pa rtnering with academic and industry groups, maintaining high standards for clinical operations, and ensuring timely, accurate data analysis. Occasional travel is required.

Key Qualifications

MD is required, along with expertise in hematology and immunology
10+ years of experience in clinical development, with a strong track record leading early-phase (Phase 1 & 2) clinical trials
Minimum of 5 years of industry experience in a small, fast-paced biotech organization
Strong people management skills and prior experience managing a clinical team in required
