Robert Bosch LLC seeks a Principal Software Architect – Autonomous Driving at its facility located at 384 Santa Trinita Avenue, Sunnyvale, CA 94085.

Job Description:

Provide technical guidance and supervision to the software development team, including task definition and assignment. Responsible for the design and architecture of complex software systems for automated driving/driver assistance systems on proprietary hardware. This includes defining sub-components, work packages, and delegating implementation tasks to globally distributed teams. Final approval of software architectures and integration concepts, along with establishing and monitoring project-wide software development guidelines and quality review processes. Telecommuting is permitted.

Educational Requirements:

Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics Engineering, Mechatronics, or related fields.

Experience Requirements:

At least three (3) years of experience in roles such as Software Engineer, Software Developer, Research Engineer, or related occupations.

Special Skills Requirements:

Training or experience in:

  • C++ Programming
  • Parallel Computing (CUDA or OPENCL)
  • ARM Architecture and Neon optimization
  • QNX or Linux
  • Agile Development
