Position: Vice President, Benefits Consultant (WES0000004T)
Location: Near San Francisco, Los Angeles, Phoenix, or Portland (supporting the West Region)
Overview: We are seeking a Client Relationship Manager (CRM) to support our multiemployer consulting business in the West Region. The CRM will play a key role in client management, consulting, project execution, and business development, impacting our growth and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage client relationships, understand client issues, and anticipate needs.
- Build rapport and effective working relationships within client organizations.
- Provide strategic expertise on employee health and retirement benefits.
- Collaborate across Segal to deliver comprehensive consulting services.
- Lead and participate in new business initiatives in the multiemployer market.
- Oversee complex projects, coordinate resources, and ensure client-centric delivery.
- Mentor staff and contribute to their professional development.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in employee benefits consulting or related services, with exposure to retirement or health plans.
- Undergraduate degree required.
- Immediate ability to engage in direct client contact.
- Strong leadership, business acumen, and communication skills.
- Ability to analyze issues and develop solutions.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
- Proven ability to build relationships with diverse audiences.
