We are seeking a Senior Fullstack Engineer with an emphasis on frontend onchain engineering to support and accelerate Base's success. You will work across system components to enable next-generation onchain products.
What you'll be doing:
- Building and maintaining high-quality frontend web applications.
- Open sourcing web apps and libraries, managing community contributions and issues.
- Collaborating with Coinbase teams on onchain product development, utilizing industry best practices and modern dapp development patterns.
- Developing key components of the OP Stack to promote decentralization of Base and other Layer 2 solutions.
What we look for in you:
- At least 5 years of software engineering experience, with 4+ years in web app development using JavaScript and frameworks like React and NextJS.
- Experience shipping user-facing features with onchain components.
- Knowledge of frontend architecture, security, performance, and usability best practices.
- Experience working with product and design teams, understanding lifecycle processes.
- Ability to write high-quality, well-tested, maintainable code.
Nice to haves:
- Experience with Golang, Geth, Foundry, Solidity.
- Contributions to open source crypto projects like OP Stack or Base.
- Experience with growth experiments or A/B testing frameworks.
- Building responsive web or mobile applications.
- Crypto-related experience, including interacting with Ethereum addresses, ENS, and dApps.
