Novant Health is seeking a full-time

MRI Technologist

to join our REMARKABLE outpatient imaging team. This role supports our busy MRI department at Maplewood Imaging Center, near Forsyth Hospital, offering you the opportunity to work with advanced imaging technology in a patient-centered environment.

What We’re Looking For: Certification as an MRI Technologist (ARRT or equivalent)

Experience with Breast MRI (preferred)

Strong communication skills and exceptional attention to detail

Commitment to patient safety and comfort

Education:

2 Year / Associate Degree, preferred. Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program or MR Program, required. Experience:

Minimum of one year of experience in MR, preferred. Licensure/Certification:

NH Medical Center-Certified and registered by ARRT in MR - RT(R)(MR) or RT(MR) within 6 months of hire, required. NH Independent Diagnostic Testing Facility - Certified and Registered within 6 Months of hire in ARRT RT(R)(MR), required. Hospital Outpatient Department-Certified and registered by ARRT in MR - RT(R)(MR) or RT(MR), required. IV Credentialed, required. Refer to the Life Support Training Policy NH-HR-3096 for life support training requirement Applicable state license, required.

Additional Skills (required):

Thorough knowledge of MRI imaging equipment, Analytical ability and basic computer skills. Has the ability to interpret information to identify each patient’s requirements for care relative to his/her age specific needs. Good communication skills.
