Description Expanded Functions Dental Assistant Sign On Bonus: $1,200 Location: 2114 Pierce St. Sioux City, IA Salary: Up to $25 /HR based on experience Job Type: Full-time Schedule: Monday 6:45am - 5:00pm Tuesday 6:45 am - 7:00pm Wednesday 6:45am - 7:00pm Thursday 6:45am - 5:00pm Friday 6:45am - 12:00pm Join Our Caring Dental Family as an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant! We're looking for a talented and compassionate Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) to join our team. Work-Life Balance: Flexible scheduling and an environment that respects your personal time. Your Role: 1. Taking occlusal registrations. 2. Placement and removal of gingival retraction material. 3. Fabrication, temporary cementation, and removal of provisional restorations following review of the fit and function by the supervising dentist, and temporary recementation of provisional restorations. 4. Applying cavity liners and bases. 5. Applying bonding systems, which may include the placement of the attachments used in clear aligner systems, following review of the fit and function by the supervising dentist. 6. Placement, bonding, and removal of provisional orthodontic restorations, 7. Monitoring of patients receiving nitrous oxide inhalation analgesia. 8. Taking final impressions; 9. Removal of adhesives using nonmotorized hand instrumentation. 10. Placement of temporary restorative materials following preparation of the tooth by a dentist; 11. Extraoral adjustment to acrylic dentures without making any adjustments to the prosthetic teeth; and 12. Tissue conditioning (soft reline only). What We Are Looking for:

Certification as an Expanded Function Dental Assistant (EFDA) (Preferred) Current CPR/BLS certification. High School Diploma or equivalent Strong knowledge of dental procedures, terminology, and equipment. Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care. What We Offer:
