Travel Job Description American Traveler is hiring an Outpatient Occupational Therapist for day shifts, requiring at least 1 year of experience and current BLS, NBCOT, and state licensure. Responsibilities
Position is in an outpatient therapy clinic with PT, OT, and SLP services Day shift schedule, Monday through Thursday, 4x8 hour shifts from 8:00 to 16:30 No call, weekend, holiday, or floating requirements unless census and volume require floating to affiliate hospitals Charting is done in Redoc and Cerner; Cerner experience is required Patient caseload and setting focus on outpatient rehabilitation Role involves working with a collaborative team of PTs, OTs, and SLPs in an outpatient rehabilitation environment Must complete up to 8 hours of online training modules before starting, typically within 1 week of signing Travelers who previously worked at this facility must have 3 years separation to be eligible Up to 10 days of requested time off allowed, but holiday requests require working at least one major holiday First-time travelers are accepted for this position Dress code and additional orientation details provided prior to assignment Requirements
Active state Occupational Therapist license required (license required if applicable) Current BLS and NBCOT certifications required Minimum of 1 year of recent outpatient Occupational Therapy experience Cerner EMR experience required Willingness to obtain any pending certifications prior to start Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility; locals not accepted Benefits
