In this role, you will report to the Site Supervisor and will work closely with the Avantor's Lab and Production Services professionals to serve our customers by performing customized, mission-based lab work and research protocols that help return time back to science. Location:

High School Diploma or GED required Experience : 2+ years of material handling, shipping, and receiving. Collaboration Tool:
Microsoft Office Suite experience Conform to all company and customer requirements for background checks, health and safety issues, and security clearances Strong communication and teamwork skills A driver's license is needed to perform the job successfully Detail-oriented Excellent Customer Service Skills; display a professional can-do attitude. Ability to understand and follow site protocols, policies, and procedures Must be flexible, forward-thinking, motivated, and can act independently Must be able to lift up to 50lbs Experience with processing FedEx/UPS Domestic and International shipments a plus IATA/49CFR knowledge/Certification is a plus How you will thrive and create an impact Avantor's Lab and Production Services team is a crucial part of the Avantor Services group, serving over 500 customers in biopharma, pharmaceutical, educational, industrial, and high-tech industries with customizable, flexible solutions and end-to-end laboratory operations support. In this role you will: Transfer data from hard copy to a digital client's database Travel to customers' sites with the company vehicle Update customer information in a database Verify outdated data and make any necessary changes to records Sort and organize paperwork after entering data to ensure it is not lost and file Helps and supports the day-to-day activities of the team Ensures that the schedules are correctly implemented and that jobs are completed properly. checking and unloading of inbound/outbound shipments, in accordance with high level of safety Verifies required inbound/outbound paperwork with drivers, as needed. Ensures inbound and outbound shipments are complete and free of damage.. Assists in physical inventories and cycle counts. Provides support with chemical (incl. hazardous materials) material services, such as barcoding, record keeping inside Client's database. Ensures the efficient and safe operation of warehouse activities. Maintains a clean, neat and orderly work area. Help create a pleasant working environment that inspires the team Conducts operations in a manner that promotes safety and in accordance with OSHA and other appropriate standards. Attends warehouse planning meetings. Communicates industry and brand knowledge to associates. Performs other duties as assigned. Updates and maintains Standard Operating Procedures Disclaimer:
