Job Title: Material Handler Forklift
Job Description
The role involves performing various duties in a small warehouse environment. Responsibilities include picking orders using a cherry picker, handling materials with a pallet jack, packing, labeling, and managing shipping and receiving tasks.
Responsibilities
Assemble and fill orders for shipment to customers or other divisions.
Assemble customer orders for shipment via UPS/LTL.
Follow customer shipping instructions and insure shipments when necessary.
Gather and verify assembled orders in carts, count and record total quantities on invoices.
Pack orders into containers and arrange them on shelves according to truck routes.
Utilize a scanner for warehouse management, order picking, and material put-away.
Essential Skills
Ability to lift 50-75 lbs multiple times per shift.
Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience.
Proficiency in operating a stand-up reach truck or cherry picker, forklift, and RF scanner.
Experience with loading, pallet jack usage, unloading, shipping and receiving, assembly, order picking, packaging, packing, inventory, production, picking, sit down forklift, RF scan gun, warehouse inventory, general production, and warehouse packing.
Steel-toed shoes are required.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Knowledge of forklift or electrical products is advantageous, but not required.

Work Environment
The work environment is a small warehouse operation that is not temperature controlled, but is equipped with large fans to maintain a cool atmosphere. The working hours are Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5:30 pm.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Indianapolis, Indiana.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
