Pay Type:
Hourly, bi-weekly.
Core Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week, with available overtime hours/pay.

Custom Farm Applicator, Class A or B CDL - Essential Responsibilities:
ALCIVIA is looking for a Custom Farm Applicator to mix and apply fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, and insecticides to our members farm fields. As a Custom Farm Applicator, you will be operating Commercial Sprayers to apply crop inputs to our members’ fields during the spring, summer, and fall. During the offseason (winter), a Custom Farm Applicator will be making minor repairs/adjustments to machinery, preventive maintenance work on equipment and facilities, hauling grain/fertilizer, and grain/feed production work.
Operating Commercial Sprayers and Dry Spreaders
Application of wet and dry agronomy products to crop fields
Mix chemicals and fertilizers according to the formulas
Maintain and clean machinery
Make minor repairs and adjustments to machinery
Report all machinery malfunctions and ensure repairs are completed
Operate the computers in the machinery
During the offseason assist with major repairs, paint equipment, and maintain facilities
Assist in the movement and accounting for inventory tracking
Support cross-divisional collaboration whenever possible in Animal Nutrition, Grain, and Energy business units
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Custom Farm Applicator, Class A or B CDL -
Required Skills & Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required
Commercial Applicator License required (will help obtain)
Class A CDL required (will help obtain)
Clean driving record required
Previous Applicator experience
Experience operating heavy machinery is a plus
Varied work schedule and hours based on season and weather conditions
Basic mathematical skills for mixing chemicals properly
Good computer and technology skills
Good written and verbal and communication
Self-directed and focuses on taking action
Ability to identify objectives and recommend the best solutions
Strong organization and time management
Excellent customer service skills
Must be able to lift at least 75 pounds at any given time
Comfortable working with chemicals and fertilizers
Working in outdoor conditions year-round
Safety-first mindset
