Job Summary We are seeking a Material Handler to join the warehouse operations team at the GCD1 facility. This role supports the accurate movement of materials, inventory control, and operational support across multiple business functions. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and capable of working cross-functionally to ensure seamless operations.
Key Responsibilities
Transfer production materials into and from storage areas accurately and efficiently
Perform daily cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies in inventory
Maintain accurate quality and inventory records
Receive all materials into storage areas promptly
Support production and business operations with timely material pulls
Keep storage areas clean, organized, and safe
Follow all safety guidelines and wear required PPE
Deliver FedEx and UPS packages throughout the facility
Interface with Planning, Production, Shipping, Receiving, and Quality teams
Participate in design, testing, and maintenance of warehouse methods and processes
Complete Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) training and operate forklifts/pallet jacks as required
Required Experience
1+ year of experience in a warehouse, logistics, or inventory role
High school diploma or equivalent
Nice-to-Have Experience
Prior forklift or PIT equipment experience (training provided if not certified)
Previous experience in manufacturing or production environments
Required Skills Inventory management Material handling Cycle counting Forklift/PIT operation (training provided)
Preferred Skills Logistics coordination Quality record keeping Warehouse safety compliance
Additional Skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and within a team Physical ability to lift/carry materials and operate equipment
