Pay:
$16/hour (Plus Mileage Reimbursement)
Location :
Norfolk, VA & Surrounding areas (We have service areas both North and South of the bridge)
Shifts:
We are hiring for a 4am - 12pm shift and an 11 am - 7pm shift.
Job Overview:
FAMCO Logistics, in partnership with Easton Coach, is hiring responsible and safety-minded drivers to provide essential transportation services to community members with mobility needs. Drivers will use their own vehicles and be classified as full-time W2 employees. This is a meaningful opportunity to support individuals who rely on reliable, compassionate transit every day.
What we offer:
$16/hour and Mileage reimbursement (Assuming about 120 miles per day)
Full-time W-2 employment status
Paid Time Off (PTO) and overtime pay
Defensive driving training

Requirements:
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
Be at least 21 years of age
Possess a valid Virginia driver's license (or a North Carolina license if living within 50 miles of Norfolk)
Own a personal sedan or van (no large vehicles requiring step-up entry) no more than 12 years old
Be eligible to work in the U.S.
Pass a DOT physical and pre-employment drug & alcohol screening
Pass a nationwide background check
Driving Record Must Include:
No DUI or drug/alcohol-related offenses
No felony convictions within the past 7 years
No hit-and-run incidents or false accident reports
No habitual traffic violations
No more than 1 at-fault accident in the past year, or 2 in the past 5 years
No frequent license suspensions or revocations in the past 5 years
Additional Requirements:
Ability to speak and understand English
Comfortable using a smartphone app for ride updates and dispatch
Keep up a professional demeanor and appearance
*Driving for the company, having a reliable vehicle, and valid driver's license is required for employment. You will be require to have our dash cam installed in your vehicle for liability and safety purposes.
Job Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality service by assisting passengers in and out of vehicles when needed and ensuring a smooth, respectful, and supportive experience at each pickup and drop-off location
Provide safe, timely, and professional door-to-door transportation for passengers
Use a company-provided app to receive and manage ride assignments and clock in and out
Maintain communication with dispatch regarding any delays or changes
Conduct pre- and post-shift inspections of vehicles and uniforms to ensure cleanliness, safety, and readiness
Represent the company with professionalism and courtesy at all times
Collect passenger fares and deliver to the supervisor
Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and compliance requirements, including HIPAA and safety protocols
Attend required training sessions such as Service, First Aid, CPR, and defensive driving
Keep accurate trip logs and submit reports for any incidents or service interruptions
