Position Summary:
Join us as a
Lead Data Analyst - Operations & Supply Chain , where you will play a critical role in enhancing our supply chain responsiveness, operational effectiveness, and cost optimization through insightful data analysis. This pivotal position bridges analytics, business operations, and strategy to support various teams, including
manufacturing, planning, inventory management, and fulfillment. You will leverage your expertise to create scalable analytical tools and deliver actionable insights that shape decision-making, focusing on key aspects like
inventory optimization, demand forecasting, MRP alignment, and capacity planning.
Collaborating across departments with business leaders, stakeholders, and technical teams, you'll develop comprehensive analytics solutions to refine our supply chain and operational workflows. Key Responsibilities: Develop Advanced Analytics Solutions:
Create and manage dashboards and analytical tools utilizing Power BI, SQL, and Excel to provide complete visibility into supply chain KPIs such as inventory turnover, forecast accuracy, OTD, and production throughput. Supply Chain & Manufacturing Analysis:
Examine complex datasets from ERP/MRP systems, demand forecasts, and production schedules to identify inefficiencies, delays, and root causes. Promote continuous improvement in areas like order flow, raw material availability, safety stock, and production plans. Inventory Planning & Forecasting:
Enhance demand and supply planning by developing models that improve inventory health, predict shortages or surpluses, and synchronize stock levels with customer demand and production constraints. MRP System Integration:
Collaborate with planning and operations teams to ensure alignment of data models and recommendations with MRP logic and master data structures, influencing BOM, lead time, and lot size assumptions for improved planning accuracy. Strategic Insights & Decision Support:
Convert data findings into strategic suggestions for operations and supply chain leaders, focusing on balancing service levels, working capital, and operational cost through effective planning and scenario modeling. Automation & Scalability:
Design and implement automated data pipelines, workflows, and reporting processes to minimize manual tasks, enhance visibility, and enable proactive responses to supply/demand fluctuations. Stakeholder Engagement:
Act as a trusted advisor to manufacturing, logistics, and finance teams. Present findings clearly and customize insights for operational, technical, and executive audiences. Mentorship & Collaboration:
Guide junior analysts and foster a culture of data intelligence within the supply chain team. Project Leadership:
Drive high-impact analytics projects, ensuring timely completion and alignment with organizational objectives. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Accounting, Operations, Business Analytics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. 6-8 years of experience in data analytics specifically in supply chain, operations, or manufacturing. Advanced skills in
Power BI, SQL, and Excel , along with automation and scripting experience. Proven background in
inventory planning, demand forecasting, and MRP/ERP systems. Experience with
predictive modeling, regression analysis, and correlation techniques. Adept at discerning significant insights from complex datasets to inform leadership. Demonstrated success in developing
scalable, long-term analytical solutions. Strong
project management abilities
with a focus on leading and executing initiatives. Robust
business acumen
and understanding of how supply chain data affects cost, service, and capacity. In-depth comprehension of financial and operational metrics and their effect on business performance. Excellent communication skills, including the ability to tailor stakeholder presentations. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with
Salesforce, Smartsheet, or similar business intelligence tools
is advantageous. Experience in creating dashboards and tools that influence operational execution and planning decisions. Background in a
warehouse, manufacturing, or production environment. Familiarity with
production scheduling, capacity planning, and BOM structures. Statistical or ML modeling expertise for forecasting or simulation. Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or process improvement methodologies.
