Software Asset Management Analyst

to enhance our Software Asset Management team. This is an exciting opportunity for you to leverage your technical and analytical skills, and hands-on experience with ServiceNow Software SAM Pro, to ensure effective lifecycle management of our software assets, maintaining compliance, optimizing costs, and managing software entitlement data. Location:

Work will be performed at our Reston, VA Headquarters office with occasional telework from a commutable location to Reston. Citizenship:

U.S. Citizenship is required. Primary Responsibilities: Administer and configure ServiceNow SAM Pro to enable accurate software installation discovery and ensure license compliance.

Create, manage, and maintain software entitlements, ensuring proper license distribution and adherence to terms of use.

Perform software license reconciliation to align entitlements with deployments and usage.

Monitor software consumption for opportunities in license optimization and cost savings.

Ensure data integrity by managing integrations with discovery tools and resolve any defects through proactive analysis.

Support internal and external audits by providing accurate entitlement, deployment, and usage data.

Collaborate with ServiceNow developers to define requirements and troubleshoot defects in the system.

Drive continuous improvement by identifying process gaps and recommending efficiency gains through automation.

Create and present reports and dashboards that showcase compliance, usage, and optimization opportunities to leadership.

Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in information technology, Business, or related field.

Minimum of 4 years of experience in Software Asset Management, with at least 2 years utilizing ServiceNow SAM Pro.

Exceptional communication and analytical skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel (pivot tables, charts, formulas).

Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Attention to detail with the capability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications: ServiceNow Certifications and/or Training.

IAITAM Certifications.

Experience with cloud/SaaS license management (e.g., Microsoft 365, Adobe Creative Cloud, AWS).

Familiarity with complex licensing models from vendors like Oracle and Microsoft.

Experience supporting license audits.

Understanding of CMDB and how it relates to software entitlements.

Knowledge of ISO/IEC 19770 standards.

Pay Range $57,850.00 - $104,575.00 The Leidos pay range for this job level is a guideline and not a guarantee of compensation. Factors considered in extending an offer include responsibilities, education, experience, skills, and other relevant considerations.
