27532 As an intern, you will initially support the integration of large, custom robotic welding systems involving mechanical and electrical assembly. Exceptional candidates can advance into Mechanical, Electrical, Software, or Applications Engineering departments.
Note: Candidates must be enrolled in school to qualify for this position. Responsibilities: Engage in mechanical and electrical assembly and troubleshooting. Collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment. Work hands-on in the assembly and testing area. Demonstrate punctuality and reliable performance. Participate in the Continuous Improvement Process. Communicate effectively with strong interpersonal skills. Follow detailed instructions accurately. Exhibit tenacity as a problem solver. Display an exceptional work ethic. Maintain strong organizational and communication skills. Utilize experience in mechanical and electrical assembly. Have an interest in interpreting electrical and mechanical prints. Demonstrate experience with hand and machine tools, including drills, wrenches, screwdrivers, band saws, mills, and lathes. Apply basic SolidWorks modeling skills. Familiarity with GMAW, GTAW welding, and plasma cutting processes is a plus. Benefits:
