What You'll Do as a General Foreperson

As a

General Foreperson

at Lewis Services, you'll: Lead and manage Forepersons and Assistant General Forepersons

Plan and oversee production, bid new work, and meet revenue targets Collaborate with utility foresters/inspectors to clarify specs and address issues Visit job sites, review hazard surveys, and enforce safety practices Ensure employees receive proper training and performance feedback Identify and develop high-potential employees for leadership roles Maintain records for man hours, equipment, materials, incidents, permits, and more Coordinate with Corporate on timekeeping, billing, recruiting, and employee relations Take a lead role in safety for employees, customers, and the public Promote a positive team environment and strong customer relationships

Qualifications

What You Bring: High school diploma or equivalent Leadership experience in utility line clearance (Foreperson or Asst. General Foreperson level) Strong written and verbal communication skills Knowledge of tree identification, growth habits, and arboriculture techniques Understanding of utility drawings, voltage, and line equipment Ability to lift 50 lbs. to shoulder height or more Computer proficiency (Microsoft Word and Excel) Valid driver's license, CDL, and medical certificate (as required) Ability to obtain First Aid and CPR certifications Ability to pass pre-employment drug and skills tests Physical Demands

Ability to: Lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Walk or hike on uneven terrain Endure extreme climate conditions Hear, speak, see, and communicate effectively Operate tools and equipment Sit, stand, climb, kneel, and perform repetitive movements Continuously
