We're looking for a Data Engineer to join our Environmental Technologies Systems team. If you have experience with developing databases, performing data analytics, take an entrepreneurial approach to problem solving, have strong communication skills, and you're comfortable handling datasets interfacing with multiple tools, you could be an excellent fit.
Key Qualifications
Proficiency in programming languages (Python, SQL, Java)
Track record performing analytics on large data models (> 1 million records)
Experience designing and building data infrastructure supporting large data models
Knowledge of databases, data warehouses (Snowflake)
Familiarity with basic data visualization tools (Tableau, observable)
Ability to multitask, working with multiple datasets and tools
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Experience translating business needs into data structures
Proven Track record of delivering quality infrastructure implementation activities
Strong problem solving and root cause analysis skills
Description
The Data Engineer on the Environmental Technologies Team will utilize data analysis and software skills in collaboration with system analysts, stakeholders and developers for partner tools to deliver software solutions that support the environmental product compliance during the development, manufacturing, and service of all the client's products.
Responsibilities include:
Develop data infrastructure to support the collection and analysis of chemical compliance data (with guidance from a systems lead)
Perform analytics (including Root Cause Analysis) on existing and developed data models to ensure quality and robustness of infrastructure
Create and maintain wireframes associated with data structures
Translate business requirements into data infrastructure (with support from a systems lead)
Define critical smoke test requirements, and performing evaluation for existing and new data infrastructure
Communicate system capabilities and limitations to pertinent stakeholders
Support a systems lead with oversight and administration of created data structures
Collaborate with developers on partner tools as necessary
Support a systems lead with system overview and capability presentations to leadership

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $55.00/hr.
