The Central Intake Coordinator LPN coordinates the intake process for referrals to all organization services and is knowledgeable in all insurance coverages to assure proper reimbursement for services rendered.

Qualifications

The Central Intake Coordinator LPN requirements include:

Licensed Practical Nurse, currently licensed in Pennsylvania.

At least one year of experience in a medical/surgical unit of an acute care facility.

Knowledge of health insurance reimbursement (including managed care) as demonstrated through work history.

Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.

Must have the ability to use a variety of computer software applications.

Associates or Bachelor’s degree in related field.

Prior Health and/or Home Health experience.

3+ years’ experience in an office/clerical or customer service role.
