Liberty Personnel is partnered with a TOP AM Law Firm seeking to add a Senior Conflicts Researcher to their team.
Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough conflicts checks for new and existing clients, matters, and personnel using the firms conflict management system and other relevant databases.
Review and analyze client lists, engagement letters, and relevant documents to identify potential conflicts of interest.
Assist the conflicts team in preparing and maintaining accurate conflict check reports and summaries.
Collaborate with attorneys and staff to understand the specifics of new matters and provide guidance on conflict resolution.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in a relevant field (e.g., paralegal studies, legal administration, business).
Minimum 4 years experience in a law firm or legal environment, particularly in conflicts research, compliance, or risk management, is preferred.
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficiency in using legal research tools and databases (e.g., PACER, Westlaw, LexisNexis) is a plus.
